step 1: aquiring Ester
- What Ester?
- enanthate or cypionate? -> no! good for injections but not for gel
- 17-beta estradiol (CAS 50-28-2), you may also use estradiol hemihydrate (CAS 35380-71-3)

step 2: collecting all ingredients needed for a batch
Ethyl Alcohol
- This can come from many things
- use the kind people can drink!! not anything unhealthy!
- if you need to go undercover -> use isoprop (it may irritate some people's skin)
- This can come from many things
Pure water
- you can use drinking water, but distilled is better
Penetration enhancer
- this helps the estradiol permeate through skin, orange peel oil, or olive oil, propylene glycol

Carbomer
- makes the gel be gel, the 980 variant is recommended, I used 940 because that's what I've found
Triethanolamine (TEOA)
- this is a pH stabilizer that will neutralize our solution again after putting in the carbomer
Estrogen
- the estradiol that you sourced
step 3: collecting the equipment needed
Beaker
- at least 100ml, you can use a mason jar, but an actual beaker is better
Vacuum pump bottles
- these need to be fairly consistent in the amount they dispense

Big Syringe with closed cap
- 100ml or more, makes it easy to dispense the gel into the bottles
milk frother or real chemistry magnetic stirrer
- for mixing
Milligram scale
- it must measure down to 0.001 grams
Lab spatulas
- the ones with the absolutely tiny spoons, you'll be measuring milligrams
weighing paper
- this can be actual weighing papers, aluminum foil, or whatever else
pH paper
- get pH paper, in a pinch, you can use purple cabbage water as a crude pH indicator
Graduated cylinder
- or any other vessel in which you can precisely measure liquid volume
Chemistry Pipettes
- these are to measure tiny amounts of triethalomene
step 3.5: choose a player method
- 0: RegularTM
- 1: replacing carbomer and/or ethyl/isopropyl alcohol with hand sanitizer and isopropy

step 5: the work area
you want a solid flat surface you can be comfortable and precise at and that is large enough that you won't bump into things, this can be a desk or a table of some kind, try to go for something non-porous so we can clean up after, the floor isn't ideal as you'll be hunched over and uncomfortable
step 6: safety equipment and clothing
tl;dr

a lab coat would be ideal, but being practical, you want to wear long sleeves and pants, try to make it something that is easy to take off (so you don't have to pull it over your head and possibly spread stuff on your hair/face), something short sleeve or sleeveless is possible to use since we're not using very dangerous chemicals washing your skin after any contact is enough to avoid harm, but y'know mild chemical burns dry out your skin and aren't comfortable, the clothes should be washed after (or thrown away if you spill a lot of estrogen on them or something like that) goggles, wear eye protection, these aren't too suspicious, so it's fine, you don't have to get the full frame goggles, safety glasses, while less safe, should be enough, you can find these at any hardware store and such, they don't need to be specifically for chemicals, the acids and bases we're using are fairly mild and just cause irritation and such, very low chance of permanent damage or anything like that, so, these are important (and if you're not gonna wear any safety stuff, at least get these), but, if you must go without, remember the safety squints, and flush your eyes with water for a long time if you get any splashes in them gloves, self explanatory, you don't want to dose yourself with estrogen or get mild acid/base burns, so, wear gloves, the thin latex or rubber ones are good, you can find them anywhere you should have extra ethanol (aftershave or kolonya is generally good to use here, we need a decent amount so it should be cheap) and paper towels nearby to clean up any spills (our ingredients are all generally soluble in it so, to clean up a spill just pour on some and wipe it up with a paper towel, have a bag specifically for 'contaminated' trash next to you, like weighing papers or pipettes, you'll close it and throw it away when you're done cleaning)

step 7: laying out all the ingredients
tl;dr: have a tidy workplace
lay out your tools and supplies, have them within reach so you don't have to get up to get any of them, but have your main work area be clear, depending on how your chemicals came it may be a good idea to place them into a new vessel (taking powder from a mylar/foil bag with another bag inside is difficult and prone to spilling), I have an air sealed and labeled container for my carbomer that I transferred it to, to make it easier to use (for the estrogen, this isn't the best idea as you'll always have some loss with transfers (we don't care about this with carbomer as it's cheap), and estrogen is sensitive to light, temperature, and air over time, so try to store it in the original mylar bag)
step 8: create the base solution
tl;dr
- we're creating a estradiol, water, ethanol
- 63% ethanol, measured using volume
- measure estrogen using miligram scale, do not breathe it in!
- add alcohol and Estro first, then water
long version
first step is creating our base estrogen, ethanol, water, solution (if you're doing a test run as you should, do not add estrogen until you're done testing) we are aiming for a 63% solution of alcohol to water, we'll be measuring it using volume, you should already have your numbers in mL for how much of your alcohol and water you should add first, measure out your estrogen using your milligram scale, you should have the amount you need calculated already, use a piece of weighing paper (actual weighing paper, wax paper, etc) or a weighing boat, tare your scale, then carefully spoon out the correct amount of estrogen using your small lab spatulas, the powder can be 'sticky' and also is easy to fling into the air, try not to breathe it, or get any on you, megadosing estrogen isn't a good time thankfully it leaves your system in a day or so and the symptoms are just acute (hot flashes, feeling woozy/sick, etc), if you get it on you wash it off with ethanol
add the estrogen powder to your beaker
next, measure the alcohol volume using your graduated cylinder https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduated_cylinder#Measurement read this section of the article to learn how to correctly measure using a graduated cylinder
after measuring out your alcohol, add it to your main beaker (possibly use some of it to get all the powder off of your weighing boat and into the main vessel or such)
the estrogen should dissolve in it easily with some stirring with your lab spatula or swishing of the solution
now, it's time to add in the water (side note: I have not experimented with it yet, but possibly keeping a little bit of the water on the side to use to first hydrate the carbomer may be good), measure out the water using the graduated cylinder and add it in, swish it around or stir for a few seconds to make sure the solution is well combined, it should be completely clear and nothing should change
if you are left with estrogen in your solution, this may be due to multiple factors, the solubility of estrogen changes based on temperature, and also based on alcohol concentration, if there is too much estrogen, recalculate, make another batch of 63% alcohol and slowly add more and stir, until all of the estrogen dissolves, measure exactly how much you added, you can now calculate how much estrogen is dissolved in how much liquid.
step 9: mix-ins

now we add the carbomer, slowly bit by bit
- -> solution should be acidic now
pour the mixture into the syringe and remove the plunger from it
add triethanolamine until solution is neutral again
- -> should get far thicker now
add the plunger back
long version
next, measure out your carbomer powder, similar to how you measured out the estrogen, carbomer is very fluffy and difficult to work with, do not breathe it in, do not get it in your eyes, if you get it on your skin wash it off with water (it will become slimy then go away as you continue to wash it with water), carbomer makes an acidic solution when it dissolves in water
now, add the carbomer powder slowly, bit by bit into your solution, while stirring, sprinkle it in, make sure to hydrate all of it, it likes to clump up like corn starch, so sprinkling it in while stirring is how I've found it dissolves okay, keep in mind, the solution becomes acidic, and becomes thicker once you mix in carbomer, keep mixing until there are no clumps, if you sprinkle it in, it shouldn't be too difficult, if you throw it all in at once this will take 30 minutes, be careful of splashing, this is an acidic solution that contains estrogen.
this is a good time to check pH, make sure you solution is acidic, just lay out a tissue or some paper to protect your table, then dip a pH paper into the solution and put it on the tissue and let it be for a bit, it takes some time for the pH paper to change color and be clear, your solution should be acidic to a certain degree
before doing this, preparing for the next step may be a good idea, you'll have a syringe in hand.
remove the plunger from your large syringe, and cap the syringe, make sure the cap is tightly on there and won't leak (a way to see if your cap works is to put it on while the syringe has a plunger and try to suck in or blow out air and see if it gives, it shouldn't)
next, pour the mixture into the top of your large syringe, remember, this mixture is acidic and has estrogen in it, try not to spill any
(another method you may do is first sucking up all of the mixture with the syringe, flipping it upside down, drawing the plunger all the way right before the point where you remove it, capping the syringe, flipping it tip down so the solution goes to the bottom, then removing the plunger)
now you have a capped syringe without a plunger, and it has your solution in it (verifying that the solution is acidic using some pH paper is not a bad idea now)
take your dropper and take the correct amount of triethanolamine using the dropper, and drop it into the top of the syringe, then mix, this should immediately make the solution far thicker and turn it into a gel, after mixing it well, test the pH, if it's acidic you should add a little bit more trieth, if it's too basic, you fucked up, don't add too much trieth, adding a drop of vinegar or something can fix it, but you shouldn't be in this fucked up situation in the first place, so just be conservative with the trieth until the solution becomes neutral, at that point, your gel is ready
step 10: filling it into the pump
add the plunger back onto the syringe, the syringe is sealed at the front, this creates some pressure, not very good
once the plunger is back on, hold both the plunger and the cap firmly (don't push on the plunger more than necessary, we don't want to pressurize more) and then flip the syringe over, some of the solution in the tip of the syringe may not have been mixed well with the rest, so giving it a bit of swishing and shaking is a good idea to make sure nothing unreacted is left
while the syringe is tip up, tap it so you get all of the gel to leave the tip, now, carefully release the air pressure by pulling the cap off, hopefully none of the gel spurted out and the cap didn't go flying, keep it tip up and slowly push out the air from the syringe until you just have gel left in it (you can check the volume of the solution by the number on the syringe now)
now is a good time to test the pH to make sure it's still neutral and good, once you're sure, dispense the gel from your syringe into an open bottle (you need to first make sure that the follower is all the way down with a chopstick), fill the bottle to the very top, then cap it
the pump needs to be primed, tap the bottle on your table and make all the bubbles go to the top, then pump it a few times until you get a solid pump or two of the correct size and not half air (it's kind of obvious, also, you've already tried at least once with a test so you should be aware of how this works), try to get as much air as you can out
step 11: post co(ok|ck)
- clean work area
- wipe work area down with ethanol
- flush vessels that had E contact with Ethanol
- make sure bottles and bags are closed
- put chemical supplies away
- throw disposables away
- keep in mind that your trash is now highly flameable (ethanol and paper towels) ((good for antifa reasons))
- take off your (outer) layer of clothing, hopefully you didn't make a mess of it
- wash hands first with ethanol (hand sanitizer), then w/ water, then w/ water n' soap
- go take a shower, be thorough
- wash your clothes alone in the washing machine
